Died within a year - don't bother with the Verizon Promotion

Very disappointed, I agree with other disgruntled users. Verizon lures you in with a free device. Unfortunately, it stopped working within a year and out of warranty, but I was locked in and am paying to dc the line. Moving to Starlink!

i had this hotsport for 1 year and man i tell you i changed them like 10 times and they all have problems i think verizon does this on purpose so you can get a phone and use that just please do your self a favor just run from verizon

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

this device works well in the city when needed, unfortunately when i am out in the middle of nowhere or up in my local mountains i personally have to use an other device called star link in order to get my work done.

if you use a VPN DONT get this hotspot

I use a VPN when on my work and personal laptops. the VPN is SUPER slow and cuts out only on this hotspot. ended up returning this device and just used the built in hotspot feature on my phone.

RUN FROM THIS JETPACK. Turns off constantly for no reason. All settings to stop it from sleep mode do not help either. You have to hold the power button forever. Then, it gets stuck in a power up mode that never connects. Take out the battery and try again sometimes helps.

Device works great, sales person is the issue. Said that the basic rate would be good enough for normal tv watching. HA! One evening and we well surpassed the 15gb. Not a good option especially since we are Verizon users but cannot access the home internet in the area.

Ordered a brand new device, had worst connection and signal than my old device. After 6 hours on phone, customer service sent me a new device. It was not new; had glue on back. I swear this is the cheapest most ghetto company ever. I like how they left a note if they don’t get the old device back in 5 days, they will charge me $500. The device itself doesn’t even cost that much lol.

This product is by far the most aggravating and useless mifi box I have ever used. The signal is poor unless you're right by it. It constantly shuts down even after I have put in the sleep/ shut off mode preferences. It DOES NOT HOLD A CHARGE for anything. It goes from fully charged to dead in an hour. I picked this one because it had more positive reviews but for us it was a bad choice. I wish we could have kept the much older model we originally had instead of "upgrading" because this is def not an upgrade.
