Great phone, better than Samsung phone in some ways. With new UI, struggled to find settings that would allow me to use phone in a similar manner as previous phone. Battery will last most of day under heavy usage.

Having recently purchased a Pixel 9 XL, I fully expected the phone to be better than my old Samsung. How wrong I was! Let's start with the speech to text: more often than not, when using STT, the AI will typically use the wrong words, not knowing the differences between their, there, and they're, whole/ hole, to/too, the list goes on and on. Second, using your finger to move the cursor in a paragraph of words is finicky and the moment you release, the cursor will jump to the end/ one spot over, causing you to start adding words in the wrong spot, and creating a bigger time sink than it would have been to just erase the whole thing and start over. Third, I hope you like bugs, because this thing comes fully loaded. Simple things such as the comment section in YT (a GOOGLE brand) not loading, apps refusing to work until the phone has been completely power cycled, voicemail refusing to sync, etc, etc. I could spend hours listing the negatives of this phone. The positives? The battery lasts decently long, you have a multitude of picture editing options and 9/10 times, the pictures come out looking great. When comparing pros/ cons, I can say with honesty that I will not ever, EVER, purchase a Google phone again. I cannot believe what a disappointment this experience has turned out to be. I only used Google-based apps on my S21 Ultra and I thought that my experience on that phone would translate really well when switching to Googles "top-of-the-line" phone. What. A. Joke!

This phone is missing alot of simple functions. My last phone was a Samsung. This is a rough transition. Google services work better on Samsung but so many issues on their Google phone. The camera is good but kinda pointless if the phone crap. It's not worth the deal. Unfortunately I didn't realize it was a credit for 36 month (3yr). Yikes, I can tell the phone will not last that long. I will have to pay it off soon and switch back to another provider with better phone prices.
